Doncaster’s civic offices will fall silent today in support of the victims of Friday’s terror attacks in Paris.

The council office, on Waterdale, is among a number of businesses and organisations which will fall silent at 11am out of respect for the 129 people who were killed.

There is also a flag flying at half mast at Sir Nigel Gresley Square, as a further act of respect.

The Doncaster Free Press, Epworth Bells, South Yorkshire Times, and Doncaster Star office is also observing the silence.
