Doncaster-born Hannah Cain signs first professional deal with Everton
Doncaster-born forward Hannah Cain has joined FA Women's Super League side Everton.
The England U20 international has penned her first ever professional contract with the Blue Girls.
Cain, 19, joins the Merseysiders from Sheffield FC Ladies, who have withdrawn from the FA Women’s Championship due to financial reasons.
The former Hill House School pupil will miss next month’s Women’s Under 20 World Cup through injury.
“It’s a big moment [to sign for Everton],” she told evertontv.
“It’s what every girl who plays football dreams of as a youngster, to be a professional. It’s been a long time coming. It’s amazing.
“I’m absolutely buzzing to get started,” she added.
“It’s my first professional contract and there’s nowhere I’d rather be.”
