An empty unit on Hall Gate is set to become a ‘pop-up’ space and is the brainchild of Doncaster Unitarian Church which owns the building, last used by estate agent Robinson Hornsby.

A spokesman said: “We bid fond farewell to Robinson Hornsby, who were excellent tenants for many years.

"They haven't gone by the way, just downsized to their other location in Tickhill.

“As the current climate makes it unlikely that another tenant will come knocking, we want to use this space for the arts.

"It will be very much a pop-up, shoestring budget kind of thing but we want to make a difference where we can.

“If you're an artist with work ready to exhibit, or if you have an idea for a future exhibition please get in touch.”
