The £500 donation was delivered to the centre by Amazon members of staff, who met volunteers and spent some time with the animals currently being cared for by the charity.

Heading up the team of visitors from Amazon was Doncaster Site Leader, Nathan Fetherston.

He said: “The Mayflower Sanctuary is a brilliant charity in our community that does important work in re-homing animals and we’re pleased to make this donation.

“It’s part of the ongoing work we do with the charity and it’s been great to come along to the centre in Bawtry to meet the volunteers and some of the animals being cared for here.”
