Eagles lost 75-55 to Tees Valley Mohawks at the weekend in a game that saw leading scorer and rebounder Mathew Martin suffer a season ending ankle injury early in the second quarter.

But fellow strugglers Liverpool’s defeat to already relegated Newham has granted the Doncaster club a stay of execution in the battle to avoid the drop from Division Two of the National League.

Victory for the Eagles this weekend would move them level on points with both Liverpool and London Greenhouse, which would mean the second relegation spot being decided on points difference.
