Danum Eagles claim first league win of season

Eagles, now playing in Division Three of the National League, led from the opening tip with some excellent three-point shooting from Josh Metcalf and Mathew Martin.

Manchester found themselves 23 points down with only two minutes left in the first half but battled back to reduce the lead to 17 at half time.

The second half was initially even but the Eagles hit a bright spell and extended their lead to 25 as the Giants struggled to handle Brandon Smith.

Martin led the Eagles with 27 points. Josh Metcalf also impressed, scoring 16 points.

Eagles host Loughborough on October 28.
