Danum Eagles' tough introduction to life in Division Two of the National League continued as they suffered an 82-69 defeat at home to Thames Valley Cavaliers.

Mathew Martin (23) and Liam Knapp (21) again led the scoring for the newly-promoted Eagles.

Head coach Bob Martin said: “We played very well for 35 minutes. The game was tied with five minutes left and we went flat.

“We are getting better each week. We need to continue to work hard and the results will come.”
