Not for the faint-hearted, it’s a cross between a sportive and a hill climb, and will see 60 cyclists face seven of the toughest hills in Sheffield.

Climbs will range from from nine per cent to 23 per cent, and a route of just over 19 miles.

Cyclists will ride with escorts between hills, where they will gather together at the bottom before racing to the top. The final hill climb will take place at 10.30am.

The top ten male and female riders in each category will be awarded points after each hill climb with the top three winning a prize.

The awards ceremony will follow at the Norfolk Arms pub, Ringinglow Road, from 10.45am.
