When asked why he had ‘assaulted two people’ he joked that he had ‘caught them trying to pinch my toilet roll’.

He said he was ‘not guilty’ and one woman in a post suggested: “If you’re not guilty then why don't you hand yourself in and let them hear your side of story.”

He also joked that he had had a ‘rough’ two nights before the police picture was taken.

Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
