Thieves targeting vehicles parked in Doncaster

South Yorkshire Police said there has been an increase in thefts of catalytic converters from vehicles in Hatfield and Stainforth.

The force said: “The vehicles are jacked up and the exhaust system cut with a power saw. Be vigilant, park vehicles as securely as possible and report anything suspicious.”

A warning has also been issued about an increase in criminal damage and the attempted theft of vehicles at Hatfield and Stainforth railway station.
