Teenage boy injured in stabbing in Doncaster

A teenager suffered a slash wound to his hand in a stabbing in Doncaster.

Police attended Christ Church Road shortly after 4.10pm on Sunday after receiving reports that a boy had been stabbed.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The 16-year-old was treated at the scene for a slash wound to his hand.

“The injuries are not thought to be serious.

“No arrests have been made and enquires are ongoing.
