A police investigation is under way after a teenage boy was attacked by a motorist in a Doncaster street.

The 14-year-old was walking along Edlington Lane, Edlington, between 8.40am and 9am on Tuesday, January 14 when a white car pulled up alongside him.A man, who was around 20 years old and wore a blue and grey hoody, approached the boy and punched him in his face.The attacker then drove off.
Witnesses should call 101 and quote incident number 529 of January 14.
