South Yorkshire Police murder probe continues into death of dad two days after attack

The 32-year-old, who has not yet been named, died in hospital yesterday after being found critically injured outside a house in the Houghton Road area of Thurnscoe Friday, June 5.
He is understood to have been a dad.
South Yorkshire Police said he was taken to hospital with a serious head injury but lost his fight for life.

Hide AdDetectives are now treating the incident as a murder investigation.
Four suspects – a 36-year-old man, a 34-year-old man and two 15-year-old boys – were arrested on suspicion of assault and released on bail pending further enquiries.
A fifth person, a 35-year-old man, was arrested by officers on suspicion of assault on Saturday and remained in police custody last night.
