Secret drugs factory discovered in raid on Doncaster housing estate

They found a cannabis cultivation set-up which involved illegally taking electricity from the national grid at Carlton Road, Wheatley, yesterday.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Officers have arrested a man on suspicion of production of cannabis, abstracting electricity and immigration offences.

“He was found at an address in Wheatley where around 250 cannabis were being grown.

“He remains in police custody while enquiries continue.”
