Doncaster Central Neighbourhood Police Team seized an off-road bike on Wednesday, May 27 in Balby.
A spokesman said: “An off-road bike was seized on Anelay Road last night.
“We've had various complaints of antisocial behaviour in relation to off-road bikes in the area.
“Last night the rider abandoned the bike in an alleyway after fleeing from officers.
“It has been recovered and will soon be turned in to tin cans.”
South Yorkshire Police increased the size of its off-road team after seeing an increase in the number of reports of anti-social behaviour involving off-road bikes and quad bikes since lockdown began on March 23.
Since expanding at the beginning of May, they have issued 48 warnings, seized 18 vehicles – with a combined value of more than £35,200 – and arrested five people.
