Daisy’s Deli in Warmsworth Road, Balby has had to close while repairs are carried out.

Now big-hearted Eleanor Stenson has launched a GoFundMe appeal to raise £1,000 for the work to take place.

She said: “I’m doing a fundraiser to help towards the cost of the shop front for Lee and Gemma.

The window at Daisy's Deli was smashed.

"As you may know, the front was damaged through no fault of their own they are the nicest kindest people you can meet, they haven’t got a bad bone between them.

"If you know them you know how kind they are.”

Announcing the closure, a spokesman for Daisy’s Deli said: “As most will be aware there’s been an incident last night and been some damage to the front of the shop. So as of now the shop will be closed till repairs are done – really sorry for any inconvenience.”
