Police seize suspected stolen vans and arrest two in wide ranging Doncaster operation

Two men have been arrested in connection with van thefts after a police operation across the east of the Doncaster.

The arrests were part of a wider day of action by Doncaster East neighbourhood policing team, with help from other South Yorkshire Police groups – Doncaster Fortify and force's serious and violent crime team.

A spokesman said during the day, they arrested two men in connection to van thefts in and around Doncaster, with one suspected stolen vehicle recovered as part of that.

Elsewhere, another suspected stolen van was seized, along with a quad bike and a quantity of cash, at a caravan site, they added.
