Police search continues for woman 'forced' into car by men in Doncaster street

A police search is continuing today for a woman reported to have been forced into a car by two men in a Doncaster street.

The woman was said to have been bundled into a car by two men on Kenmare Crescent, Intake, at 11.25pm on Thursday, January 23.

South Yorkshire Police said the car involved was a dark coloured saloon, which reversed from Kenmare Crescent and travelled onto Sandringham Road before turning right onto Evelyn Avenue with the woman in the car.

Detectives are trying to track her down to check on her welfare.

DC Rachel Young said: “We are still looking into the circumstances surrounding this incident. From reviewing nearby CCTV footage, we have reason to believe that the people involved may be known to each other.

“Our first priority is to carry out a welfare check on the woman in question.”
