Police release CCTV following violent disorder in Doncaster

Officers investigating an incident of violent disorder in Doncaster town centre last month have released CCTV stills of seven men they are keen to speak to as part of their ongoing enquiries.

Between 12.20am and 1am on Saturday 2 November, it is reported that a group of men armed with metal bars were involved in an altercation on Nether Hall Road, near the town centre, at the junction with Highfield Road.

A 29-year-old man suffered injuries to his hand and head during the incident. It is not known whether other individuals involved in the disorder suffered any injury.

Investigating officers believe that the seven men pictured could be able to provide vital information and are appealing for them, or anyone who recognises them, to get in touch.

Police believe the area where the disorder happened will have been busy with members of the public enjoying the night-time economy in Doncaster town centre and are keen to hear from any witnesses to the incident who may be able to help indentify the seven men pictured in the footage.
