Police name Doncaster woman who died after she was assaulted

At around 3.05pm on Sunday 24 May, police were called to a property on Ramskir View, Stainforth, following reports of a disturbance.

Upon arrival, 52-year-old Michelle was found to have suffered serious head injuries and was taken to hospital, where she sadly died on Wednesday, May 27.

A post mortem examination concluded that the cause of death was a head injury.

Her family have today (Tuesday 2 June) released this photograph. They ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult time.

Three people – two men aged 47 and 33-years-old, and a 24-year-old woman – were arrested on suspicion of assault at the scene. They are currently on police bail pending further enquiries.

The investigation continues and police are asking those with information to call 101 quoting incident number 539 of 24 May.
