Police launch investigation after shots fired at houses in Doncaster

Police have launched an investigation after shots were fired at two houses in Doncaster.

Officers were called at around 8:40pm on Thursday, October 29 to reports shots had been fired on Coniston Drive in Balby.

Police attended the scene and discovered damage to the doors and windows of two properties consistent with shotgun discharge.

A search was conducted to find those responsible, however the offenders could not be located.

It was also reported that several vehicles were witnessed driving in convoy in the area and that at around 8:30pm 10-15 men were seen exiting the vehicles carrying machetes in Springfield lane, before returning to the vehicles and driving towards Balby Road.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 823 of 29 October.
