Police hunt as man with Doncaster links goes on the run from jail

Police are appealing for information after a man with links to Doncaster went on the run from jail.

Steven White, aged 29 was last seen at HMP Thorncross in Appleton on the morning of Saturday 10 April, before he absconded, police have reported.

Cheshire Police, who are appealing for help to find him, described him as having links to both Doncaster and Salford.

Both he another another inmate, Vincent Bland, 38, were both reported to have absconded yesterday.

Police are warning residents not to approach them if the see them, but to contact police by calling 999.

Officers from the Cheshire force say that they are making a number of enquiries to trace both the men and are urging anyone with information on their whereabouts to contact them.

White, the man with the Doncaster connections, is described as being 5ft 10in tall with a normal build. He has black hair, green eyes and is clean-shaven.

He was last seen wearing a dark tracksuit top and bottoms, black beanie hat, black trainers, and hi-vis orange work mans jacket.

Bland is described as being 5ft 8in tall with a stocky build. He has brown hair, hazel eyes and is clean-shaven.

He was last seen wearing a dark tracksuit top and bottoms, black beanie hat, black trainers with a thick white sole, and hi-vis orange work mans jacket.
