Police called out over 'large gathering' at Doncaster house during lockdown
Police in Doncaster were called out after reports of a ‘large gathering’ at a house during the coronavirus lockdown.
Officers were called to an address in Woodhouse Road, Wheatley shortly before midnight last night after a concerned resident reported a number of cars outside a neighbouring property.
One neighbour described the incident as ‘a large gathering.’
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman confirmed officers had spoken to those involved and said: “Officers attended and gave guidance in relation to COVID guidelines, no tickets were issued.”
