Police believe missing South Yorkshire teens may be together

Police are looking for two teenage boys from South Yorkshire reported missing from home.

Shaquille George, aged 15, from Pitsmoor, Sheffield and Kai Weerdmeester, also 15 and from Doncaster, disappeared over the weekend.

They are believed to be together after posting a number of photographs on social media.

Kai, who was last seen in College Road, Doncaster, was reported missing at 5pm on Saturday, November 14.

Shaquille was reported missing the following afternoon.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said: “Officers understand that Kai and Shaquille are together and there have been a number of reported sightings of the teenagers, including social media activity where they have posted pictures together.

“There are increasing concerns for their welfare and officers are urging anyone with information about the location of the boys to get in touch.”

Kai is around 5ft 8ins tall with braided hair that he can wear in an afro.

He was last seen wearing black jogging bottoms, a black padded jacket and a silver snapback hat.

Shaquille is around 5ft 9ins tall and was last seen wearing a navy blue tracksuit and black trainers.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
