Ninth arrest made in Doncaster man murder inquiry

On Tuesday (December 24), the police executed a warrant in Denaby Main and arrested the man on suspicion of murder and drugs offences and he remains in custody.
On Saturday (December 21), two men and a 14-year-old have been charged in connection with the murder of the 51-year-old.

Hide AdShea Nicholson, 19 of Lincoln Close, Denaby Main, and Martel Brown 23, of no fixed address, appeared before Sheffield Magistrates' Court.
They have both remanded in custody and will appear before Sheffield Crown Court next month.
The 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before Doncaster Youth Court on Monday (December 23) and before Sheffield Crown Court on Tuesday.
He has been remanded and will appear before Sheffield Crown Court next month.

Hide AdMr Appicella’s body was found inside a property on Craganour Place, Denaby Main at around 9.45am on Sunday morning (15 December) after officers responded to calls of concerns for his welfare.It is believed that he had been involved in an altercation with a group of people on December 3 in an alleyway leading to Hickleton Street in Denaby Main prior to his death.
