Mum sobs in court as she and boyfriend prepare for second appearance over Doncaster toddler murder

A man and woman are due in court over the murder of a two-year-old Doncaster boy.

Martin Currie, aged 36, and Sarah O'Brien, 32, both of Bosworth Road, Adwick, are accused of the murder of two-year-old Keigan O’Brien.

Keigan was taken to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest and died the following day.

A post mortem examination revealed he died of head injuries.

Currie and O’Brien appeared before Doncaster magistrates on Saturday and were remanded in custody to appear at Sheffield Crown Court tomorrow.
