More than one in 10 drivers speeding on Doncaster village road, reveals police operation

Officers manned a camera on Main Street, Hatfield, after receiving complaints about drivers going too fast along the road.

A spokesman for Doncaster East neighbourhood policing team said a speed monitoring operation carried out on there.

They added: “Of 97 vehicles checked, 11 were exceeding 35mph in a 30mph zone. These will be advised accordingly. Please slow down and watch your speed in this area.”
