Karl Mangham, aged 16, was reported missing after last being seen at 9pm on Sunday, January 3 in the Lime Tree Avenue area of Doncaster.
He did made contact with his family all week, which was said to have been out of character.
His photograph and description were circulated by South Yorkshire Police in a bid to locate him.
The force said he was found on Lime Tree Avenue at 10pm last night.
