South Yorkshire Police made the discovery after executing a drugs warrant at an address in Wheatley, where they had received ‘numerous’ reports of ‘suspicious activity and antisocial behaviour’.

Bags of drugs were also discovered at the property.

Officers then arrested a man in the town centre on suspicion of breaching a restraining order and possession of spice.

A spokesperson for Doncaster Central NHP said: “He tried to run from the arresting officer but only made it a few yards before being caught.

"He is in the cells ready to be interviewed by CID, and to practice his shuttle runs.”
