Men in court over Rawmarsh burglaries

Five men have appeared at Rotherham Magistrates’ Court charged with burglary and vehicle crime offences in Rawmarsh.

The men were charged on Tuesday and were in court yesterday (November 13).

Barry Patterson, 42, of Doncaster Road, Rotherham is charged with two offences on Quarry Street in Rawmarsh; an attempted burglary on November 11 and a burglary on November 12.

Michael Hancock, 39, of no fixed address, is charged with theft from a motor vehicle on Rippon Court, Rawmarsh, on October 20 this year, and also with burglary on Haugh Road, Rawmarsh, on October 21.

Ricky O’Mahony, 29, of Dawson Avenue, Rawmarsh, is charged with a burglary at Rotherham College of Arts and Technology on November 11.

Gregory Allen, 42, and Darren Smith, 37, both of Badsley Moor Lane, Rotherham, are charged with handling stolen goods from a burglary in the Holmes area on November 9.
