Masked men raid Doncaster home

Four masked men forced their way into a Doncaster house, threatened a resident and made off with cash.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses to the armed robbery which happened in Hampole Balk Lane, Skellow, at about 8.40pm on Wednesday February 5.

The suspects, who were all wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered, stormed into the property when the 58-year-old man answered his door.

Two of the men were carrying large knives and the suspects snatched money before fleeing the property.

The victim sustained minor injuries and has been left incredibly shaken by the incident.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw four men acting suspiciously in the area prior to the incident.

Passers-by may have also seen the suspects as they made their escape from the scene.

Three of the men were black while the fourth is described as being Asian or mixed race. One was 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build while the fourth man was about 6ft tall and of slim build. They were all wearing black jackets and had their faces covered with masks or balaclavas.
