Man released on investigation after racially aggravated incident in Doncaster town centre

A man has been released on police investigation following a racially aggravated public order offence outside a Doncaster town centre pub.

The 37-year-old was taken into custody following an incident outside the Masons Arms in the Market Place on Tuesday afternoon.

South Yorkshire Police said he has been released on police investigation while enquiries continue.

It is understood he was arrested in Sunny Bar and taken to College Road Police Station for questioning.
