Man arrested near Doncaster house last night on suspicion of going out equipped for burglary

Police have arrested a man on suspicion of going out equipped for burglary after he was spotted on CCTV outside a house in a front garden.

Officers were called the scene yesterday evening and arrested the suspect at 9.30pm on Florence Avenue, in Balby. He has been charged and remanded to appear before a court.

Police say the 45 year old was searched under Section 1 of Police and Criminal Evidence Act before his arrest and spent the night in police custody.
