Man arrested and woman warned after Doncaster police carry out drugs raids

Yesterday morning, officers from South Yorkshire Police’s Doncaster West Neihgbourhood Policing Team conducted two simultaneous warrants at properties in Conisbrough.

A man was arrested for drug offences and a woman was given a cannabis warning.

A spokesman said: “Positive action will continue to be taken against anyone found in possession of, or concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.

“If you are concerned about drug related offences occurring in your neighbourhood, please do not hesitate to contact us on both 101 and 999 if it's an emergency.

“With your helpful information we can continue to obtain and execute warrants throughout the area.”

There have been a number of high profile drugs busts in Doncaster in recent weeks, with police moving in to shutdown a number of cannabis dens across the town.
