Man arrested after nearly 90 cannabis plants found inside Doncaster house

A man has been arrested after a police raid uncovered dozens of cannabis plants inside a Doncaster house.

South Yorkshire Police teams from Doncaster West NHP executed a drug warrant at an address in Ingleborough Drive, Sprotbrough yesterday and located 88 cannabis plants in the upstairs of the property.

A spokesman said: “One male aged 31 was arrested and has been charged with producing a controlled drug.”

Due to the danger presented at the property from the electrics, Northern Powergrid was called in to cut supplies.
