Man arrested after car crashes into tree in Doncaster and two passengers are seriously injured

A man has been arrested after a car crashed into a tree in Doncaster leaving two passengers with serious injuries.

The 30-year-old was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving without insurance and failing to provide a specimen.

He remains in police custody this morning.

Emergency services were alerted to the crash on Carr House Road at 8.10pm yesterday.

Two men, aged 41 and 42, who were passengers in the car, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

They are both stable this morning.
