Man and woman released under investigation after arrest over Doncaster 'murder'

They were arrested after the death of a 55-year-old man in a property on Beckett Road, Wheatley, just after noon on Sunday, November 29.

A 50-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man were arrested at the property on suspicion of murder.

They since been released under investigation.

A post mortem examination carried out yesterday proved inconclusive.

DC Rachel Young, said: “We are continuing to treat this man’s death as suspicious at this time and our investigation is ongoing.

“I would like to appeal to anyone who was in the Beckett Road area of Wheatley on Sunday to please get in touch if they have any information that might help our enquiries.

“I’d like to also reassure the community that there is no wider risk to the public.”
