Police are reviewing CCTV footage in a bid to catch the knife-wielding robbers who threatened staff at a Doncaster boutique.
Members of the hooded gang who escaped with thousands of pounds worth of designer gear are believed to have been waiting for Robinsons of Bawtry to open before bursting in and terrifying female assistants.
Owner Russell Jones was told he would be ‘slashed’ with the 10ins long butcher’s knife if he resisted the robbery last Wednesday.
It is the second armed shop robbery in Doncaster in less than a fortnight.
Mr Jones said the raid will have cost him up to £10,000 in lost Ralph Lauren Polo shirts and Armani jeans after the racks were cleared.
He was upstairs in his office when his staff shouted for help about 9.45am. Anyone with information contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
