Homeless Doncaster woman who assaulted one female and threatened another is given a suspended sentence

Jade Louise Starr appeared before Doncaster Magistrates’ Court on October 13 where she admitted assault and threatening behaviour with intent.
Records show that the 24-year-old, of no fixed address, “acted with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour” towards the woman in the Doncaster area on January 22 this year.

Hide AdIn a second incident which took place on September 3 in the Doncaster area, Starr committed common assault on another woman.
For the earlier offence, Starr was given an eight-week prison sentence, suspended 12 months, and for the second magistrates gave her a 12-week prison sentence, also suspended for 12 months.
Both terms will be served concurrently, meaning the total length of sentence is 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months.
She was also ordered to pay £100 in compensation to the woman she assaulted in September.
