A homeless Doncaster man has been jailed for a raft of offences, including threatening behaviour and criminal damage.

Mark Derbyshire, 36, of no fixed address, appeared before Doncaster Magistrates’ Court on November 18 where he admitted a total of seven offences.

On September 18, Derbyshire breached a public space protection order, and on October 5 he was guilty of acting in a drunk and disorderly manner at Doncaster Railway Station, records show.

On August 8 he behaved in a threatening manner towards a woman, and on October 9 he caused £600 worth of damage to a car.

Also on October 9, he was again found acting in a drunk and disorderly fashion, this time in Doncaster Town Centre.

He also admitted failing to surrender to custody on November 13, and failing to attend an appointment with the Probation Service following an earlier release from prison.

He was jailed for a total of 14 weeks and ordered to pay £200 in compensation.
