Girl, 14, ‘grabbed and assaulted’ walking through woods to meet family in Doncaster

Detectives investigating the reported assault of a 14-year-old girl have released an e-fit image of a man they are keen to identify.

At 9.15pm on Friday, Nocember 20, it is reported the teenager was walking to meet friends through woodland near to Doncaster Road, heading towards Burcroft Hill.

The 14-year-old is understood to have seen an unknown man who appeared to be hiding behind a tree.

She carried on walking but the man is believed to have followed her, before grabbing the hood of her coat and pulling her backwards.

The 14-year-old was able to release herself and ran away from the man, hiding in the woodland for a period of time before returning home and calling police. She was not injured.

Officers have worked with the girl to produce this e-fit image and are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise this individual.
