Gang sought after teenager attacked in Doncaster town centre robbery

A group of men are being sought by police after a teenager was robbed in Doncaster town centre.

Officers investigating the incident have released a CCTV image of four men they believe could hold vital information.

At around 8.15pm on August 14, an 18-year-old man was approached by a group of men inside the Frenchgate Centre.

They threatened to take the teen’s phone, before following him through the town centre.

On Church View, near to the B&M store, the 18-year-old was pushed and again threatened. They are believed to have forced the victim to go to a nearby cashpoint and withdraw some money.

Officers believe the individuals pictured could hold useful information and are asking for them, or anyone who recognises them, to get in touch.
