Firefighters called to back garden bonfire involving carpets giving off thick and acrid smoke
Firefighters from Elm Lane were called to Kimberworth Park Road in Rotherham, at 7.24pm on Sunday evening.

Upon arrival they found a controlled burn in the back garden of a property.
The crew in attendance made a decision to extinguish this fire as the bonfire involved carpets, which were giving off thick and acrid smoke. This was dealt with by 7.47pm.

This is thought to have been started deliberately.
