Fine for Haxey man caught with drug

A Haxey man must fork out £220 after being caught with ten grammes of cannabis.

Martin Hagan, 20, of Hopgarth, was found with the class B drug at an address on Station Road in May.

Hagan pleaded guilty at North Lincolnshire Magistrates’ Court on Monday.

His guilty plea was taken into account during sentencing but he was nevertheless fined £115. He also has to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 costs at a rate of £15 per week.
