Drugs seized during series of police raids across Doncaster

Police netted drugs and made numerous arrests during raids on properties across Doncaster.

Officers swooped on a house in Hexthorpe, on Thursday and discovered more than 260 cannabis plants.

A 14-year-old boy has been charged with production of cannabis in connection with the seizure.

The warrant was one of several executed as part of an ongoing crackdown on crime in the area.

At an address in Shady Side, Hexthorpe, cannabis and drug dealing paraphernalia were recovered.

Police arrested a 51-year-old woman on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply.

At an address in Surrey Street, Balby, a quantity of crack cocaine and heroin was recovered, along with a substantial amount of cash.

A 38-year-old man has been charged with possession with intent to supply criminal property.

Police seized cocaine, cannabis and a quantity of cash from a house in Regent Street, Balby.

Officer arrested a 48-year-old man on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

He was released on bail pending further enquiries.

As part of the operation, police also checked 95 vehicles, issuing several fixed penalty notices.

Four vehicles were found to contain red diesel and two vehicles were seized for no having insurance.

Licensing officers issued several warnings for other motoring offences.
