Doncaster schoolgirl sexually assaulted

Police are seeking information about the a sex assault on a 15-year-old schoolgirl in Doncaster.

The girl was walking to school along Mallin Drive in Edlington, in the direction of Edlington Lane, when she heard someone running behind her.

A man then caught up with her, reached over her shoulders and touched her inappropriately, before running away down Edlington Lane.

The suspect is described as a white man of around 50 years old and chubby. He was around 5ft 9ins or 5ft 10ins tall and had greying brown hair and stubble on his face. He was wearing a dirty green coat, blue jeans, black shoes, and had two gold rings on his right hand.

Anyone with information on the incident, which took place at around 8.50am on Friday, November 29, should call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 378 of November 30 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
