Doncaster robbery gang hunted

Four masked men are being hunted in connection with a terrifying robbery at a Doncaster man’s home.

The gang forced their way into a house in High Hazel Road, Moorends, and threatened the householder, a 51-year-old man who runs a takeaway, with a knife, and demanded cash.

The incident happened between 11am and 11.20am on Thursday, November 7.

The victim, who is not being named, managed to escape from the property, after which the four men searched the address and stole cash, jewellery and electrical items.

They then fled the scene in a stolen black BMW vehicle, which was found later that morning parked in Park Road, Blaxton.

One of the suspects is described as a white, slim man of around 5ft 6ins tall. He was wearing a grey hooded top, black woollen gloves and a ski mask.

The second suspect is described as an Asian male of between 28 and 30 years old. He was between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 9ins tall and of a stocky build. He had a short stubbly beard and moustache, and had a black hankerchief over his face. He was wearing a T-shirt, jeans and trainers.

The other two men were both between 5ft 10ins and 5ft 11ins tall and of large build. One of them was wearing a black and white skull mask, while the other was wearing a Halloween mask.

Witnesses, or anyone with information on the incident, should call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 366 of November 7.
