Judge Sarah Wright told Smith: “You made indecent images of children category A, B and C between September 2016 and January 18, 2018, when you were then aged 21.”
She added such images involved heartbreaking sexual offences against children and anyone who accesses these encourages others to make such material.
Smith, who has no previous convictions, pleaded guilty to three offences of making indecent images.

Judge Wright acknowledged Smith has a reasonable prospect of rehabilitation and sentenced him to a three-year community order with a Rehabilitation Actvity Requirement and a sex-offender treatment programme. He was made subject to a five-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register.
