Doncaster murder investigation still ongoing two months after woman's death

Police in Doncaster have confirmed that a murder investigation is still ongoing more than two months after a woman was found dead at a house in the town.

Mum of two Laura McCluskie, 44, was found dead at a house in Bardolf Road, Cantley on January 16.

A 55-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and was released under investigation.

South Yorkshire Police have said the man is still released under investigation and that officers are still awaiting full post mortem results.

Ambulance crews alerted South Yorkshire Police to the death after they were called to the address at 4.20pm on January 16.

A statement released on behalf of the family said: "This is the saddest time ever. The loss of a sister, mum, nana, niece, daughter and auntie is unbelievable.

"The pain is constant. We love you so much Laura. You will be missed so much."
