A driver has been robbed in Doncaster after stopping to give someone directions, say police.

The 18-year-old motorist was driving along Hickleton Road towards Barnburgh when he was flagged down by two pedestrians.

The driver pulled over and got out of the car to give directions, when he was grabbed from behind. His wallet was stolen and two suspects then drove off in a dark-coloured saloon-type car.

Witnesses, or anyone with information, should call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 1077 of 28 November 2013.

South Yorkshire Police has released an e-fit in a bid to trace a man who may have vital information.
